Victoria & David got married on a brisk November afternoon at the stunning Ox Pasture Hall in Scarborough. This gorgeous setting just out of Scarborough was a breathtaking venue for Photographing a Wedding – So please read on for details on my first Ox Pasture Hall Wedding Photography opportunity!

Ox Pasture Hall set in a Stunning Location

This gorgeous Country House Hotel is set in the middle of the gorgeous Yorkshire countryside, surrounding by hills and beautiful scenery and was a breathtaking setting for such an elegant wedding. Situated near to Scarborough, this Hotel didn’t have a typical coastal feel, but was more of a rural cottage setting. This kind of venue is a photographer’s dream!

Capturing the Wedding Party Getting Ready

Victoria got ready in her lovely room at the venue, along with the Mother of The Bride, and her three gorgeous bridesmaids. The dress was hung up by the window, and had gorgeous details around the waste that glinted in the light. The flowers sat by the desk, next to an upturned prosecco bottle – signalling a few earlier celebratory drinks!

Guests Begin to Gather in the Barn for the Ceremony

As I made my way to the barn, through the picturesque gardens, the guests were beginning to gather in the Barn. This gorgeous room had high ceilings with beams that were decorated with fairy lights, that gave a lovely warm feeling to the room. The Groom, along with Best Man and Usher stood welcoming the guests into the room.

Relaxed, Happy, Emotive Ceremony

The Bridesmaids and Page Boys began the celebrations, by walking down the aisle. Soon to be followed by the Bride and the Father of The Bride. The ceremony had an emotive, light-hearted feel, with plenty of giggles, but also lots of heartfelt messages and beautiful vows.

Food, Drinks, Dancing and Music

The evening was filled with delicious food and drinks, a guitarist played some live entertainment and the cake was cut to whoops and cheers from the guests.

I had such a good time capturing Victoria and David’s Wedding – please have a look through some of my favourite images from the day below and why not have a look at their Full Gallery in High Resolution here.
