Cubley Hall Peak District Wedding Photography

so much confetti

I first met Becca & Chris at their pre-wedding shoot in Grenoside Woods in Sheffield. It was an absolute pleasure to return to photograph their wedding at Cubley Hall for their Peak District Wedding Photography. It was such a lovely, relaxed, barn wedding and I was over the moon to see Monty the dog there again too! The Peak District is such a beautiful place, and Cubley Hall is no exception!

Bridal Prep on a Frosty, Winter Morning

We had such gorgeous winter morning light in the stunning bridal prep room. The dresses were hung on the four poster bed, and the last sprinkles of snow sparkled in the morning sun. Botanicals delivered some amazing autumnal flowers which added such a vibrancy to the day. Little Monty the dog was there posing for photos and keeping everyone smiling, and the atmosphere was incredibly happy and excited.

Ceremony in the Beautiful Barn

After I’d spent the morning with the girls (and Monty the dog of course!) I popped down to the barn to check out the Ceremony Room and to see Chris before the upcoming nuptials. The barn was decorated with lovely hand-drawn signs, lit by candle light – giving a lovely rustic feel. The ceremony was filled with emotion and a couple of tears, the amount these two love each other was clear from the start. Once the vows had been promised and the rings had been exchanged, they had their first kiss to huge claps and cheers from their family and friends. Little Monty the dog decided to spin around in circles every time anyone clapped! Which was hilarious to watch – what a little character!

Spectacular views for Group Photographs

We headed out to the Garden Pavilion at Cubley hall for the group photos. The spectacular views around the magnificent Peak District added to the already beautiful venue. With its quirky period features, oak beams and warm welcoming atmosphere. The fur shrug that Becca adorned really added to her outfit, and the confetti really brightened up this cold day! We shivered our way through the freezing temperatures and got some lovely photos of the newlyweds and their family and friends. Then we headed back in for the drinks reception.

Food, Drinks, Dancing and the Cake of Cheese!

The new bride and groom had put a lot of thought into their evening celebrations. They had video games from Arcade Hire and a lovely Acoustic Singer called Anya Lace, who entertained the evening guests beautifully. Chris and Becca had a gorgeous first dance and had an incredible cake of cheese from The Bawtry Cheese Cave that they cut with an engraved axe!

Overall this wedding was bloody brilliant, so give their Highlight Film a watch and have a look through some of their images below!

  • I love wedding photographs because in each and every wedding the photographers will differ and the photographs will also change and none of them are going to be the same. I really like the love between the couples and I would like to appreciate the efforts of this wedding photographer.
