Fun & Laughter at the Fabulous Old Swan Hotel

Emma and her lovely bridesmaids were captured for their Wedding Photography by myself, getting ready at Bridal Prep in a fabulous, luxury bedroom of The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. The gorgeous, bright room was a contemporary setting for Bridal Preparations and Emma and her bridesmaids laughed and had fun whilst their hair and make up artist helped them to look fabulous! Emma’s gorgeous little flower girl watched the bride-to-be in awe as she put on her incredible dress.

A Sun Drenched Ceremony in the Garden Pavilion

Now, as residents of the United Kingdom, we are not always blessed with lovely weather for all of the big days that I attend, but luckily for Emma and Andy and their Wedding Party – the weather was glorious and they had the ceremony outside in the elegant gardens. The guests gathered under trees, ready to create wonderful wedding memories in this Historic Spa Town of Harrogate. The Peaceful Gardens were an incredibly beautiful backdrop and the pavilion has a wonderfully rustic feeling to it. The vows were moving and their smiles were infectious.

Elegant Drinks Reception in the Gardens

Emma, Andy and I went for a lovely walk through the grounds of these spectacular gardens to take some time to do some photographs of the two of them together, and it was nice for the newlyweds to have some time to spend with each other. Shortly after we returned to their guests, where there were drinks and canapes and a few group photographs of the guests, family and friends. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen then helped to usher everyone inside to their meal.

Gorgeous High Room with Beams and Drapes

The room where the newly married couple and their guests ate, was a beautifully high ceilinged room filled with elegant lighting and contemporary luxury decor. The cake was absolutely stunning, and sat in the corner of the room, near some gorgeous windows that painted it in stunning light. The food and speeches were both as impressive as each other, with the Groom, Best Man and Grandad of the Bride each giving great toasts. After the food, the guests were shown into an adjoining room which was the setting for hours of dancing and merriment which ended the night perfectly, alongside a stunning First Dance which was the perfect ending to a lovely day.
