Rustic Loversall Farm Doncaster Yorkshire Wedding Photography & Film

yorkshire wedding photography

I was so happy to be asked to photograph and film a wedding video for Stacey & Daniel’s Wedding. This lovely couple got married at Loversall Farm in Doncaster. Oscar the dog was a big part of their day and I was obviously thrilled at this! He had a little bow tie and I was so happy he was there! I absolutely LOVE dogs.

Garden Cottage for Bridal Preparations

Windy country tracks led me to vast stretches of unspoilt Yorkshire countryside. Garden Cottage was set back from any main roads. Here the bride and her bridal party were getting ready, . The bride-to-be was sat in the beautifully lit conservatory at the front of the cottage in my favourite county! Busily getting ready in other quaint little rooms were here bridesmaids and other family and friends. The mother of the bride helped Stacey into her fantastic Wedding Dress, meanwhile I spent far too much time sat on the floor with Oscar the dog! He loved the clicking sound of my shutter. So I managed to get lots of lovely images of him looking straight down the lens! He is an absolute superstar.

A Short Stroll to the Church

St Katherine’s Church is a quick walk down a windy country road. I headed there to find a nervous groom greeting his guests. A huge smile beamed from his face as he waited for his bride. Sunshine beamed down on what was another spectacular day in the North of England in the Summer of 2018. Daniel waited with his best man at the front of the congregation. Stacey arrived in a gorgeous car and was escorted into the Church by the father of the bride.

A Beautiful Church for a Gorgeous Ceremony

This stunning bride walked down the aisle to meet her very emotional groom. So nice to see him showing a few tears. Stacey did look absolutely incredible. Sentimental vows were said which lead to the ring exchange. Smiles lit up both of their faces while they walked back outside after this Loversall Farm Wedding Ceremony.

Picturesque Views at Loversall Farm

The newlyweds and I went to explore the vast countryside in and around Loversall Farm. What a picture perfect place for couple portraits. It really did show off Yorkshire at its best. The scenery really is unrivalled therefore we got some spectacular stills and videography clips. Not forgetting little Oscar the dog of course!

Rustic Barn for Food & Speeches

This ancient, stone built barn has been restored, making it a perfect choice for weddings. The true, rustic charm has not been lost though. Bunting filled the room which added to the quaint charm. Guests ate before laughing and crying through the brilliant speeches.

Stunning First Dance and a Trip to the Hideaway Hut

As if the venue wasn’t beautiful enough we were treated to another trip out into the neighbouring fields. Stacey, Daniel and their little dog showed me the Hideaway Hut. This is set in a private area of the meadow. Surrounded by trees and plants, it is the perfect escape. It is on the edge of a pond and is a perfect rural spot for a first night together as husband and wife. As the sun began to set, we got some dramatic wide-angle shots. One turned out to be a firm favourite of mine from the whole summer’s portfolio. We then returned to their loving family and friends. A beautifully romantic first dance entertained the guests. Dancing continued into the night.

This was an absolute pleasure of mine, and I’m so excited to share this gallery with you all! Don’t forget to give their wedding video a watch too.
