I had the pleasure of being a Cheshire Wedding Photographer for Heather & John this summer. They had their stunning wedding at Styal Lodge. This unique venue is set in the rural countryside of Cheshire. Such a relaxed atmosphere during the day, which turned into one hell of a party in the evening!
Purpose-Built, Family-Run Cheshire Wedding Venue
With all it’s open plan, well-lit spaces, it’s clear that Styal Lodge is a stunning family-run venue. It’s contemporary feel whilst set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside makes it idyllic. Bordering Greater Manchester and Merseyside, this North West England County is mostly rural and ideal for weddings.
Bridesmaids and the Lovely Heather Getting Ready
The morning before the bride and groom’s big day, I arrived at Styal Lodge for Bridal Prep. This absolutely fantastic venue is ideal for a super chilled couple & the laid back vibes. There was so much happiness and laughter around the bridal sitting room. What a perfect start to this total joy of a wedding.
Brilliant Understated Backdrop for Ceremony
Styal Lodge has contemporary style and natural light flooding in from the gorgeous surrounding countryside. The soon to be husband and wife grinned as they glimpsed each other down the aisle. This super chilled couple smiled through their vows, exchanged rings, and made beautiful promises.
Confetti, Photographs and Plenty of Fun in the Sun
After their lovely ceremony, we headed outside to the manicured private gardens. The drinks reception involved a huge confetti line and games of beer pong. Guests stood around exchanging stories and enjoying beers in the sun. The relaxed vibe carried on throughout the day. We did Bridal Portraits in the sun and had fun enjoying the countryside.
Beat Boxers, Speeches and SO Much Dancing
The speeches were hilarious and moving in equal parts – just the way it should be. The whole room of guests was captivated. Then this whole special day turned into a fantastic evening party. This was hugely helped by the arrival of Bloxed Beats. The beat boxers were fantastic and brought great energy to the reception. It is a certainty that all the guests were having an amazing time.
