I had the pleasure of travelling down to Aston Marina in Stone for this lovely couple’s wedding. What a perfect day to photograph a celebration at this stunning waterside venue in Staffordshire. This couple were such a good laugh and the whole day was filled with so much fun. The Beer Pong being a personal favourite of mine!

Bridal Preparations at Nearby Hotels

Rebecca and Alyce were getting ready for their wedding in some hotels nearby. I met Alyce at Stone House Hotel. My lovely second shooter Rebecca met the other Rebecca at Dog and Doublet Inn. The Make up Artist applied make up next to a window as Bridesmaids sipped on bubbly. The bride-to-be put her dress on in the wardrobe, which was hilarious when I had to squeeze in with my DSLR to capture some photos! Whilst the bridesmaids used the shower to steam all their dresses in preparation, Rebecca was having shots and readying herself.

Chic, Quirky, Open Plan Venue for an Outdoor Ceremony

The light-flooded modern architecture of the Boathouse overlooks the neighbouring canal which means this venue has crazy gorgeous views. Alyce stood waiting for her gorgeous bride at the pagoda. Surrounded by the view over the Marina and Staffordshire rolling countryside. The Best Man stood next to the bride-to-be in support as she waited to be wed. Not long after, an excited bride walked down the aisle – led by her bridesmaids. What a rare opportunity for a sun-drenched outdoor venue to exchange rings. Tieing the knot outside meant we could enjoy a waterside wedding.

Beer Pong, Football and a whole lot of Dancing!

The brides and their two guests enjoyed some amazing speeches, before a gorgeous hot buffet and BBQ. We all enjoyed the Beer Pong competitions which definitely brought out the competitive side in everyone! So many laughs and the drinking only increased this. Definitely give the video a watch for some great moments in this game. The early evening led onto the a brilliant night reception. There was plenty of dancing and singing, all night long!
